Call for Papers

The 17th International Conference on Genetic and Evolutionary Computing (ICGEC-2026) invites researchers, practitioners, and students from around the world to submit original, unpublished research papers on all aspects of genetic and evolutionary computing.

ICGEC-2026 provides a premier forum for presenting and discussing the latest advances in genetic algorithms, evolutionary computation, and related computational intelligence techniques. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings by Springer.

Paper Categories

Full Papers (12-15 pages) Original research contributions presenting significant theoretical or practical results.

Short Papers (6-8 pages) Work-in-progress, preliminary results, or position papers on emerging topics.

Submission Guidelines

  • Papers must be written in English
  • All submissions must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference
  • Papers must follow Springer's LNCS format
  • Submissions will be evaluated based on originality, technical quality, significance, and clarity
  • All papers will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process

Publication

All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings by Springer in the series "Communications in Computer and Information Science" (CCIS), which is indexed by Scopus, EI-Compendex, DBLP, Google Scholar, and other major databases.
