Call for Papers

The 18th International Conference on Genetic and Evolutionary Computing (ICGEC-2026) invites researchers, practitioners, and students from around the world to submit original, unpublished research papers on all aspects of genetic and evolutionary computing.

ICGEC-2026 provides a premier forum for presenting and discussing the latest advances in genetic algorithms, evolutionary computation, and related computational intelligence techniques. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings by Springer in the Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering series.

Submission Guidelines

  • Papers must be written in English
  • All submissions must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference
  • Papers must follow Springer's Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering template
  • Page Limit: 10 pages (maximum 12 pages with additional charges)
  • Submissions will be evaluated based on originality, technical quality, significance, and clarity
  • All papers will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process

  • Paper Submission Deadline: June 30, 2026
  • Invited Session Application Deadline: May 30, 2026
  • Acceptance Notification: July 15, 2026
  • Camera-Ready Papers Due: July 30, 2026

Publication

All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings by Springer in the series Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering. Normally, papers in this series are indexed by EI and Scopus. If a paper is not presented at the conference, the paper will be excluded from the conference proceedings.
