Presentation Guidelines
Onsite Presentation
- Duration: 15 minutes presentation + 5 minutes Q&A
- Format: PDF, Powerpoint, or other slideshow-like file
- Language: English
- Equipment: Projector and screen provided
- Laptop: Presenters should bring their own laptop with HDMI or VGA output capability
- Media Adapter: Those with limitied I/O ports (Macbook users) should supply their own HDMI-compatible adapter
Online Presentation
- Duration: 15 minutes presentation + 5 minutes Q&A
- Format: PowerPoint or PDF slides
- Language: English
- Platform: Details will be provided closer to the conference date
- Technical Requirements: Stable internet connection, webcam, and microphone
Presentation Tips
- Keep slides simple: Use large fonts (18pt minimum), limit text, and include clear figures
- Practice your timing: Aim for 15 minutes to leave room for Q&A
- Have a backup: Bring a USB drive or save to cloud storage
- Test early: Arrive early (onsite) or join the session early (online) to test your setup
- Stay on time: Keep your presentation within the 15-minute limit
