Presentation Guidelines

Onsite Presentation

  • Duration: 15 minutes presentation + 5 minutes Q&A
  • Format: PDF, Powerpoint, or other slideshow-like file
  • Language: English
  • Equipment: Projector and screen provided
  • Laptop: Presenters should bring their own laptop with HDMI or VGA output capability
  • Media Adapter: Those with limitied I/O ports (Macbook users) should supply their own HDMI-compatible adapter

Online Presentation

  • Duration: 15 minutes presentation + 5 minutes Q&A
  • Format: PowerPoint or PDF slides
  • Language: English
  • Platform: Details will be provided closer to the conference date
  • Technical Requirements: Stable internet connection, webcam, and microphone

Presentation Tips

  • Keep slides simple: Use large fonts (18pt minimum), limit text, and include clear figures
  • Practice your timing: Aim for 15 minutes to leave room for Q&A
  • Have a backup: Bring a USB drive or save to cloud storage
  • Test early: Arrive early (onsite) or join the session early (online) to test your setup
  • Stay on time: Keep your presentation within the 15-minute limit
