Submission Guidelines
Publication
The conference proceedings will be published in the book series of Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering by Springer. Normally, papers in this series are indexed by EI and Scopus. If a paper is not presented at the conference, the paper will be excluded from the conference proceedings.
Paper Format
We strongly recommend using LaTeX for paper preparation. Please follow the Springer template for Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering: Open Springer Nature LaTeX Template on Overleaf.

Paper Length
Papers should be a minimum of 8 pages in length. Accepted papers are 8-12 pages (with an extra fee for pages 11-12). Papers less than 8 pages and more than 12 pages will not be accepted.
Page Limit Details:
- Minimum Length: 8 pages (including references, figures, and tables)
- Standard Length: 8-10 pages (no extra fee)
- Extra Pages: Pages 11-12 incur an additional fee
- Maximum Length: 12 pages
- Papers less than 8 pages will not be accepted
- Papers more than 12 pages will not be accepted

Submission Steps:
- Create an account or log in
- Upload your paper in PDF format
- Fill in all required metadata (title, abstract, keywords, authors)
- Complete the submission
Submission Requirements:
- PDF format only
- Maximum file size: 10 MB
- All fonts must be embedded
- PDF must be searchable (not scanned images)
Please remember to upload your paper to Turnitin for similarity checking: Turnitin.
Turnitin Similarity Check Steps:
- Create an account or log in
- Join a course:
- Course ID: 51943064
- Course Key: ICGEC-2026
- Upload your paper in PDF format (Document name: [Paper ID])
Your similarity score should be less than 20%. If your similarity is more than 20%, you may upload your file again after 24 hours (one upload per day).
Review Process
All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process:
- Each paper is reviewed by at least 3 independent reviewers
- Reviewers are experts in the relevant field
- Review criteria include:
- Originality and novelty
- Technical quality and rigor
- Significance and contribution
- Clarity of presentation
- Relevance to the conference
Review Decisions:
- Accept: Paper is accepted as-is or with minor revisions
- Minor Revision: Paper requires minor changes before acceptance
- Major Revision: Paper requires significant changes and re-review
- Reject: Paper is not suitable for publication
Important Notes
- Originality: Submissions must be original and not published or under review elsewhere
- Simultaneous Submission: Papers submitted to ICGEC-2026 cannot be simultaneously submitted to other conferences or journals
- Plagiarism: All papers will be checked for plagiarism. Plagiarized papers will be rejected
- Similarity Check: Papers with a similarity score higher than 20% on Crossref similarity check will not be accepted, per Springer guidelines
- Author Registration: At least one author of each accepted paper must register and present at the conference
- Presentation Requirement: If a paper is not presented at the conference, the paper will be excluded from the conference proceedings

The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support.
